The evidence?
“My mother gave birth to me in a kitchen,” Costagliola says in thick Italian accent.
Castagliola was born in a town called Torregaveta in a restaurant run by his family in southern Italy. He was around food his entire life.

Dan Leatherman served in Iraq, Ray Austin is a Korean War veteran, and Mike McCoy fought in the Vietnam War. Though serving in three different wars and being from different generations, Leatherman, Austin and McCoy are bound together by their service to their country.

</title><link>http://naplesnews.com/news/2008/nov/10/south-lee-arts-community-feeling-pinched/?partner=RSS</link><description>The phone rings at the D&amp;S Gallery in Bonita Springs.
Sue McCarthy barely hears it.
It’s too noisy. There’s a construction project roaring next door, and the high-pitched barks of her brown poodle, Lil Bit, are almost unnerving.
She asks her husband, Dennis, to get it. He scrambles to find the phone and answer before the caller hangs up.
Once on the line, he looks a little relieved — the McCarthys can use all the business they can get.
