The new Whole Foods Market along U.S. 41 at the Mercato Center will hold its grand opening Friday, Sept. 5, officials announced Thursday.
Festivities for the Whole Foods Market-Naples will begin at 8 a.m. in the store parking lot with a free continental breakfast for customers.
The 52,000-square-foot building is Whole Foods Market’s first store in Southwest Florida and will generate approximately 100 new jobs in addition to the 100-plus employees transferred from the Wild Oats store that recently closed along Airport-Pulling Road in North Naples.

I can't wait! I can't believe how fast HOAR Construction is moving on that project. Their construction time-line on Mercato has been quite impressive!

HOAR Construction is the biggest farst going in Collier County. They ARE NOT employing local contractors, most are good ole boys from Birmingham. They are taking jobs from local contractors and shipping the money back to Alabama. Ok, one or two are from Naples, but the rest are all out of state, cheap as dirt. What has happened to the Lutgert Co? They built quality projects, local people made a living building it for Scott and Ray. This thing is an abortion on the face all who work in the county or no longer work because of so called contractors like HOAR. The name says it all. Why has immigration not checked this site like they have BCBE, Kraft, BBL sites??? Who has the HOAR in their pocket?
