In addition to other area clubs, Quail West Golf & Country Club will participate in the Patriot Golf Day event from Friday through Monday.
The Patriot Golf Day asks for golfers to donate at least $1 extra to their greens fees. That money will go to the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to families of military personnel who have become disabled or lost their lives in the line of duty.
Quail West wasn’t on the participating list on the Patriot Golf Day’s Web site. A list of area golf clubs off that site appeared in Wednesday's golf column.
