TROON, Scotland Craig Stadler has aced the shortest hole in British Open golf, the Postage Stamp at Troon, and earned a prize of 123 bottles of wine — one for every yard.
The opening round of the Senior British Open is under way Thursday. The former Masters champion, who is a wine enthusiast, used a pitching wedge to find the front of the green at the eighth hole and the ball bounced twice before rolling into the hole.
