One day after clinching the Atlantic Sun title in their first season, the Florida Gulf Coast University baseball team completed a three-game sweep of ETSU with a 15-2 win at Swanson Stadium.
The Eagles (36-13, 24-6 A-Sun) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first on Stephen Rassel's two-run double and Vinnie Scarduzio's RBI double. The Bucs rallied within 3-2 in the third, but FGCU scored the game's next 12 runs.
Scarduzio had a two-run homer in a three-run third.
Casey Coleman struck out five batters in six innings and improved to 6-3.
Ozzie Borrell had his third five-hit game of the year, including his sixth homer and three RBI. Scarduzio had four hits and finished the series batting .463 with three homers and eight RBI.
The Eagles will play their final home game of the season on Tuesday against Florida Atlantic at 6 p.m.
