Pamper your pets
Goodness for Pets, a fashionable boutique with gourmet and healthy food for pets, has opened a second store at 7700 U.S. 41 N., (one traffic light south of Vanderbilt Beach Road on the east side of the street) Naples. New restaurants
-- Scenes on the Bay is now open for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 489 Bayfront Place, Naples. Happy hour is celebrated from 3 to 7 p.m. Information: 530-2225
-- Sideline Joe’s, food for the team (as quoted on the menu), has opened at 14700 U.S. 41 N., Naples. The restaurant advertises that the cuisine is authentic, honest American food that brings back a simpler time and place. Real ingredients are prepared in classic style and comfort food is shared with your family, friends and the whole team. They have burgers, lap dog’s, salads, Cincinnati chili, Buffalo wings, handmade fries and onion rings. Kids under 12 have a choice of burgers, grilled cheese, wings, lap dogs or chili served with fries, a drink and ice cream for $4.99. Kosher food on wheels

Free iced coffee

Miracles helped by a plumber
James Denton, the actor that plays the plumber Mike Delfino on “Desperate Housewives,” will take batting practice with the Miracles from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Hammond Stadium, 14400 Six Mile Cypress Parkway, Fort Myers. Denton will also sign autographs and throw out the first pitch at 7:05. Fans can bid on a chance to sit with Denton in the sky suite by bidding at www.miraclebaseball.com until 7 p.m. Wednesday. Taste of 20 years
Chef Roy Yamaguchi will host a “Taste of Twenty Years Dinner,” with reservations starting at 5:30 p.m. May 23 at Roy’s, 475 Bayfront Place, Naples. New stores
Waterside Shops, 5415 U.S. 41 N., Naples, will have new stores in time for Thanksgiving. De Beers, Salvatore Ferragamo, Van Cleef & Arpels and Basler (a women’s ready-to-wear store) will be open by the middle of November. Nordstrom’s will be open on November 7.
Golf and Tommy Bahama
Tommy Bahama has paired with professional golfer and LPGA tour member Michelle McGann. McGann will wear island inspired clothing while on tour and for personal appearances.
Visitors card
Visitors will receive more that $3,000 worth of discounts at hotels, restaurants, attractions and activities when they use the Paradise Coast Values in Paradise VIP card.
