The Fort Myers Miracle will take on the Daytona Cubs at 7 p.m. Saturday in their first Florida State League Championship Series since 1995.
The Cubs defeated the Palm Beach Cardinals 6-0 Friday night to win the FSL East Division title. Daytona starter Hung-Wen Chen scattered three hits over six innings for the victory, while James Adduci and Ty Wright had two RBIs apiece.
Fort Myers completed a two-game sweep of Dunedin with a 3-1 victory at Hammond Stadium on Wednesday night to take the West Division crown.
Game 2 of the championship series is scheduled for Sunday. Both games will be played 7 p.m. The Miracle will take to the road for Games 3, 4 and 5, if necessary.
All remaining Miracle playoff games will be broadcast on WMYR/AM 1410 and WCNZ/AM 1660.
