Hockey: ECHL's Columbia players declared unrestricted free agents

The ECHL announced that, as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Professional Hockey Players’ Association and with the exception of three players from the future considerations portion of a March 5 trade with Wheeling, all Columbia Inferno players are deemed unrestricted free agents, effectively immediately.

Everblades release 2008-09 schedule

The Florida Everblades officially announced today their 2008-09 schedule. As in the past, the Everblades will play a 72-game schedule with 36 home and road dates. The '08-'09 campaign begins on Friday, Oct. 17 and concludes on Saturday, April 4.

Blades' season-ending jersey auction raises over $14,000

The Florida Everblades held their annual season-ending jersey auction on Thursday, April 24, and the auction of the White 10th Anniversary Jerseys worn by the players throughout the 2007-08 season raised $14,100 for the Deb Kelsey Memorial Fund.
