LPGA founder Patty Berg to be inducted into South Florida PGA Hall of Fame

Patty Berg, one of the founding members of the Ladies Professional Golf Association, is the lone 2008 inductee into the South Florida PGA Section Hall of Fame. She will be honored posthumously Aug. 26 in ceremonies following the annual meeting of the South Florida PGA at Breakers West in West Palm Beach. Berg, a longtime Fort Myers resident, died in September 2006 at the age of 88.
