Members of the Kiwanis Club of Marco Island were plenty busy selling food and beverages near the Pink Motel in Goodland where many watched the 12th annual Goodland Boat Parade to benefit Avow Hospice. The Kiwanians donate $1,000 annually to the hospice program.

Lisa Powers and Gary Flannery served as traffic control as boats went in to the small bay to get down to Stan's Idle Hour Restaurant, then come back out during the 12th annual Goodland Boat Parade on Feb. 16. A record 27 decorated boats, with many themes, took part in the parade that benefitted Avow Hospice.
