Mike Pagliccia of Naples rode a Seadoo GTI 130 to break the Guinness World Record for longest distance traveled on a jet ski in a 24-hour period at 624 miles and raised an estimated $5,000 for the YMCA of Naples. His father Hugo Pagliccia greets him with champagne as he arrives at the Naples Pier. The jet ski was provided by Florida Motor Sports.

This 1965 Ford Mustang convertible sports a leather interior and a metallic factory paint job called cascade green. The power plant of this car, owned by Peter Knox, packs 289 hp, with a 4-barrel carburetor and high-performance pistons, all factory-installed. It gets about 18 mpg.

This 2006 Big Bear Chopper is one of Long's connections to his three-member group of friends in Maryland that called themselves "The Skulls." East Naples Middle School music teacher Adren Hance, with his 1976 Triumph TR6 convertible. Hance races the car with the British Car Club Of SWFL. This Triumph TR6 sports a 150 hp, 6-cylinder engine, with a top speed of 110 mph. Hance has modified the suspension to race on an obstacle course.

Mark Palin is a stagehand, who works in theaters in Naples and Fort Myers. He bought his 1970 Ross bicycle at a garage sale just for the lock. He says, "The man wanted $5, but after I talked to him a little, he came down to $2 and threw in the bike."

Jeff Zimmerman's boat, a 2008 21-foot Angler Cabin Cuddy, is the sixth that he has owned. It is powered by a Yamaha 150 hp 4-stroke outboard motor, which Zimmerman says is "very fuel-efficient." He takes it out every weekend when possible saying, "It rides very smooth on rough water." Recently, he cruised all the way down to Key West with his family.

At the helm of his boat, Jeff Zimmerman volunteers his time to teach kids basic fishing skills at East Naples Community Park, where they catch sunfish, bass and bluegill. He finds the effort very rewarding, because some of the children have never held a fishing pole before.

Pastor of the church for the past two years, Masinelli says his motorcycles are his horse, explaining preachers got around in the old days on horseback. "I'll take my bike," said the 43-year-old preacher who makes hospital calls and goes everywhere a pastor is needed. He said, "I encourage all bikers to come as they are to services dressed just as they are on their bikes."

Israel Garcia, rear, and his son Israel Jr. show off the latter's 2005 Dodge Magnum. The car was originally blue but now sports a custom-painted candy sour apple color. The metallic color has shards of glass in the base coat to add extra contrasts, and skulls are airbrushed on top of the hood, in a slightly lighter shade of the custom green. There are 24-in. chrome rims too.
