Description: A visit to Duval Street Seafood Company may feel like a Gulf Coast dream that you don’t want to wake up from. Fresh seafood from the restaurant’s own boats, a bar with a thatched roof and a free beer when you present your scorecard after a day of golfing. What’s not to like? Start things off with the Caribbean sampler, an array of coconut shrimp, fried lobster and crabcake served with a Caribbean dipping sauce. Then move on to a baked stuffed grouper or a Key West crusted Mahi. If seafood’s not your thing, dig into some steaks, ribs or pork chops. Happy hour is every weekday from 3 to 6 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday, with $1 domestic beers and a $4 bar menu that includes jerk chicken quesadillas and smoked tuna dip and chips. Throw in another room with a full bar and the NFL package during football season and you’ll be living the dream at Duval’s. In late August, the restaurant closed for the season, and will re-open in December 2007.
