Prior to working as a visual journalist at the Naples Daily News, Greg Kahn worked as a photographer the Independent Tribune in Concord, N.C., after a stint at his hometown newspaper in Wakefield, R.I.
Greg started his photography career as one of 10 recipients of a weeklong trip studying under National Geographic photographers during the North American Nature Photography Annual Summit in San Diego.
He is a magna cum laude graduate of George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in visual communications with concentrations in photography and graphic design. During his senior year, Greg volunteered at the National Geographic magazine.
Greg recently garnered numerous awards, including the 2006 North Carolina Photographer of the Year runner-up and the 2007 Honorable Mention Best Portfolio at the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar.
