Jeff Lytle has worked as a professional journalist for 30 years, the last 28 in Southwest Florida. Jeff came to the Naples Daily News in 1979; he has served as editorial page editor and Sunday Perspective section editor since December 1988. Jeff has won statewide and Scripps Howard awards for editorial and column writing, headline writing, page design, in-depth reporting and general excellence in newspaper editing. He is a native of Altoona, Pa., and a graduate of Penn State University. Jeff also hosts " One on One with Jeff Lytle" on WEVU- TV and "Open Mic" with Collier County Public Schools TV.

Gas has reached as low as 2.89 in East Naples with a car wash at Tropiclean Gas and Auto Spa. Gas at the auto spa is a good deal even without a wash, and there is a 5-cent discount for paying in cash.
