One has to set and have extremely low standards and expectations to want to see this hockey puck from Alaska. Come on folks, she might even be more of an embarassment around the world and here at home (to thinking people, that is) than George Bush. It's going to be a landslide in November and the Dems will have over 60 seats in the Senate. Get use to it.

Tom Hmurcik: Your comment says a lot about you. Let me guess-You are really, really right in your political beliefs; You listen to Rush daily and take notes; You are convinced that Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton caused all our problems; You-well, you know who you are and now we do. Nancy Pelosi was 100% right and correct in making the speach she did and it really saddens me that your Republican retard's feelings were hurt by Nancy's speach. The best thing that could happen to this country would be if conservatives would just go into the wilderness for 40 year and not 40 days. Conservative philosophy is a ticket to disaster and the last 8 years are proof positive.

Susan Lord: We all would have been a lot better off now if Barbara Bush had believed in abortion. Aborted future generations? Give me a break. Now, aborting future republicans, that's an idea whose time has come.

For the future of this country, we can only hope that the republican party goes away and takes the evangelicals with them.

Rejoice: How many of your sisters have you slept with? It sounds like you are the product of what I spoke about. You jump on a typo and that's about all you have to jump on-except of course, your- well, I won't go there. You people are all cut in the same mold. You have no substance, you have no point. All you can do is call people names and that is pitiful, as you are pitiful.

When I read all the extreme right wing (Naples normal) comments regarding McCain's choice as his successor (and she will be if McCain is elected because he won't last through his term) I have to conclude that the republican inbreeding in Naples is rampant). No sane person would want this extreme right, religious fanatic (she makes radical Muslims seem like teddy bears), gun toting, baby popping novice to be in charge. By the NDN letters though, lots of Naples folks would welcome it. As I said-inbreeding-think about it. You all aren't to sane. You know, after living in Naples since 1979, I knew that.

William Conklin:
If you truly believe what you wrote, then you are a complete "Bush" idiot. I too am a veteran and I believe that those who didn't come back (they know the cost of war more than you or I) would not want one soul to die in vain for any reason, much less for an appointed president who ran from his military committment and started a war for his oil interest and his ego. He is the most disgraceful creature to walk the face of the earth and deserves all the expletives anybody wants to call him. I personally like "The Coward from Crawford", but I'm sure there are more. John Riccio is 100% correct in what he is doing. Those of you who support this war share in the responsibility of the deaths of all those who have died (including Iraqi civilians whose lives are worth every bit as much and the soldiers who have died in the very disgraceful and traitorous war.

Oldpig: It's "reissuring" to know that they are doing this to participate in a national event. We have red light runners here by the thousands. Why isn't it a local priority? I personally have witnessed numerous occaisions where I have been sitting a a red light-along with a cop- and when the light changed, multiple cars continued on through and what did Collier Counties finest do? Nothing !!!!!. These excuses for law enforcement officers here in Collier County are pitiful. At any rate, I don't drink coffee in the afternoon, so only realistic, level headed comments are posted.

Oh Great! Collier County's finest are going to do their job in earnest for what? A week? Then business as usual for all the idiot drivers in this town? Come on guys, how about doing your job and earning your money all the time. Red light runners now have the skinny, so they will let up until the deputies go back to Dunkin Donuts. Something doesn't compute here. This is a serious, life threatening crime, but the CCSO can only devote one week to doing their job? It's no wonder that "enforcement officials" have such low respect. I know I don't have much respect for them and nobody I know does either.

ChiDem: What this? More c--p espousing school vouchers. Just about every school system in Western Europe is central and they are all light years ahead of and better than ours. The private (religious) schools are nothing more than a front for segregation and should never, repeat never get public money. In fact, religious institutions should not get tax breaks because they are "for profit" entities. Our school system should be central (Federal Government) and not locally controlled. The local control has given us all the problems we have now. Vouchers? Not no, but hell no. They are just another way of speeding the demise of this country.
