I spoke with the now ex-chef of McCabes on fifth Ave. (web cam out front) and he said the owner fired all of the employees (some had been their 6+years) and hired most all hispanic workers willing to work for a lesser wage to compensate for our current economic climate.
Try the food now he said.
I for one, will not.

The Real McCaw is a dump in my opinion, warm expensive beer, so-so food, but decent entertainment.
