cornandbeans is right. The Daily News IS what the Chamber of Commerce wants. And we all know what the Chamber is all about. I am sure that Trout Scanlon and Poteet have been celebrating today! They are the supporters of the chosen two. Fortunately, with scores of the Chamber of Commerce crowd showing up in support of Baker, the intelligent and informed voter saw it for what it was. The intelligent and informed voter will NOT vote for the Daily News endorsements, especially if Curatolo is included. My prediction: Curatolo and Paterno will go down. Poteet and Scanlon have probably been very busy on the blogs today. Too bad nobody reads them anymore. Nobody really cares.

Score one for Curatolo-Chamber of Commerce-Naples Daily News.
Now, teachers of Collier County, think twice about who you are going to trust.
Good luck, Julie Sprague. You have my vote --- and many more now that the writing is on the wall. You are up against a well-oiled machine.
Richard McCluggage, you have my vote as well.

Trout Scanlon has the base-balls to point the finger at another human being making the statement: A man is known by the company he keeps." That says a great deal for your candidate Curatolo. If I were Ms. Curatolo, I wouldn't touch Scanlon with a ten foot pole. Then again, it takes one to know one. Come to think of it, McClugage must be okay. If Scanlon knocks him, he must be a good guy. Remember the adage, "Judge me by my enemies."
(Really, Ms. Curatolo, tell Trout Scanlon to go to a ball game during the next forum. The guy does you no favors. His presence hurts you more than it helps you. Ask around. And tell him to get a haircut and a shave.)

firefly and camerman, you are right. You wouldn't think that people could stoop so low until you read some of these blogs. The guy is sick and Curatolo and her gang want to put the final nail in the coffin. These bloggers are the same old bloggers over and over again. They are Curatolo supporters and this is a good example of what a horrible things she and her friend are capable of. I don't think she will win though. I think see the hatred that comes from this group. I also have a good suspicion that muchwizernow is her campaign manager. She and her Chamber of Commerce crowd have got to go.

Two questions:
How old do you have to be to be employed in Collier Public Schools?
Can you be an illegal alien and be employed?
Another question: Will GCA insure that personnel are in this country legally?

This guy seems like a winner. Based on what
I've read, he has my support. I honestly hate to sound so simple, but I'm inclined to agree with fedupinnaples, "ABC, anyone but Curatolo." She may have good intentions and she may be a nice person, but I just can't stand to hear the woman talk and talk and talk and say nothing. It reveals a self-centeredness, a condescending attitude that tells me that she thinks she actually has a right, the skills, and the brains to talk down to the populace. What she says and how she says it proves otherwise. I have taken the time to listen to some of these meetings. They all talk too much except for Pat Carroll, but Curatolo is extreme. What takes her five minutes to say could be said succinctly in 30 seconds or less. Or maybe it's the sound or pitch of her voice. She can't control that and to criticize her for that is mean-spirited.
"ABC, anyone but Curatolo."
Good luck, Rick. At this time, you have my vote.

I, for one, will be among the first to support whoever it is that will go up against Curatolo in the upcoming election. She is and continues to be a disgrace to the entire county. The problem is: will anyone go up against her and the Chamber of Commerce that controls so much? I think not. They are far too powerful and intimidating. If someone should step up, man or woman, I believe that if they can endure the smear tactics that this group is so famous for, he or she will win in a landslide. Anyone up to the challenge? You will probably receive thousands in donations. Bob Murray, I don't know you, but if you endorse Curatolo, it says a great deal about your character. Next time, I would think twice before writing such a letter.

Poteet, teachtrouble, Poteet, er......... whatever name appears..............
it seems some people have a lot of time on their hands. Business slow?
I happen to agree with the Naples Daily News, but I would like to see Poteet's phone records, Curatolo's, Carroll's, and all the other Chamber notables scrutinized. The Chamber took an active role in opposing the firing of Ray Baker. Why? For the children? Sure.
Stop beating the same old dead horse. Nobody cares, and you know it. You're just drumming up support for your candidate Curatolo.
The Naples Daily News featuring a letter and advice from Poteet - that's a good one. Mr. Jack Clarke, letter writer, puts it well when he refers to the Naples Daily News' "fall from grace." I guess this is just another example.
Really, this is a sad reality.

So now we have letters of endorsement for Curatolo from Trout Scanlon, Bill Poteet, and Curatolo's husband. Add the endorsement of the Daily News and the Chamber of Commerce. What a line-up!
Want real reform? Vote McCluggage.
As for heretic's comment, just who are you suggesting steroids for? Poteet?
As for Corny Cacho, what in the heel are you talking about?
