Sung to the tune of,
"If you knew Sushi like I knew Sushi.."
We wuz dancin' on the pole jest-a-mindin r bizniz,
The camera's wuz a clikkin
An we wuz gettin down ta kissez
My baby's eye wuz red like a noodle ona poodle,
She wuz skittin' and a gittin'
Doin tha wang, a dang, a doodle
Naples ain't to fun but we wuz bumpin up da level
While the ol' folks ate da Sushi
We wuz dancin' like a rebel
Now da only thang we can do is replicate the smell
Of da Sushi on a hot plate
Fo you guys dat know it well.
Me so fishy.

Yes I hope for a lot of good, hard working people the market is at least stabilizing. I was fortunate and bought a long time ago, didn't spend more than I make, didn't invest in risky ventures, and my home still appreciated to three times it's value when I bought it(even though it was 4 times at one point). I didn't buy it to sell, I bought it to live in and never considered it would appreciate that much.
36 years in Naples and it's been all good. I met my wife here, raised my 2 sons here, made bonus money just for owning little pieces here and there, and had a sucessfull career. I have more friends than I can count and will remember it fondly as I move on to another phase of life.
Believe it not I feel the market turn down will be good for Naples as a city in the long run. It needed a good cleaning and those that invested wisely will weather the storm and live in a much better place than it was becoming.
P.S. I have several friends that have also sold recently.
It's been fun NDN bloggers but the connection will be off. See ya!
