Islandman,
What is your response to the fact that the US has a gun death rate that is 8 times higher then the rest of the developed world? Does that give you any pause? Are Americans just more violent then the rest of the world or does it have something to do with our gun ownership laws (or lack of them)? I grew up shooting and hunting with my dad so please don't tell me I want to take everyone's guns away. Just curious if you think a gun death rate that is so out of whack with the rest of the world is an indication that something isn't right?

No Bobby, I think you and Gone Fishing deserve that title. Where is GF this morning? My guess is he was a paid poster, got a quarter for every post and .10 for every reply to one of his posts. He is now out looking for a real job...(speaking of unemployed deadbeats).

Wrong smartypants, it was an invitation only event for Mr McCain's concession speech, they picked the attendees. I think Billy's not racist, you however are ignorant.

Actually GW, the Presidents in question were:
Truman, Clinton, Johnson, Kennedy, Johnson, Truman, Truman, and Clinton. I think only one was in office during the dot com bubble dummy...

And the answer is....the Democrats, all of the above. What does history show us about Dems vs. Repubs in terms of the economy? Well,
Under Dem. presidents the stock market rises 10.3%, under Repubs: 7.3 (41% difference) Middle class wages rise double with a Dem as oppossed to a repub. Dem. presidents have increased the national debt by 3.7% during their terms, under Republicans, 10.1%. Unemployment under Democratic presidents averages 4.8%, under Republicans, 6.3%.
Why would anyone vote for a Republican if they are worried about the economy? Everything above is not opinion, it's historical record (unlike Acorn and Ayers GW).

GW,
Lets take a little quiz, see if you can answer which party and president produced the following on their watch...
1. Highest growth in GDP?
2. Highest growth in jobs?
3. Biggest increase in personal, disposable income?
4. Highest growth in industrial production?
5. Highest growth in hourly wages?
6. Lowest Misery index (inflation + unemployment)?
7. The lowest inflation?
8. The largest reduction in Federal deficit?
Unlike Ayers, Acorn and all your other propaganda, these are verifiable facts. Lets see how you do...

Piano,
Should the ACLU support Christian teachings like selling your daughter into slavery (Exodus 21-7)? Should people be killed for working on the Sabbath (Exodus 35-2)? I guess the NFL should be executed for touching the skin of a pig (Leviticus 11-7)? Those farmers in Immokalee should definitely be stoned to death for planting different crops side by side as prohibited in the Bible, not to mention all those ladies who should be strangled for wearing clothes with two different threads...
Now that would be American, huh?
