Hey...it's Bennigan's. The same franchise food you'd find at any Bennigan's anywhere else.
But...what makes this place special is the Promenade. Eating, drinking, and socializing near the outdoor bar, especially during Jazz Friday's is wonderful.

Awful, awful, awful. Small portions, small drinks, mediocre food, awful ambience. I don't know why anyone would eat here unless it was the only place with electricity after a hurricane...and then I'd probably prefer heating a can of beans on my propane grill.

Outstanding food and service. A small, cozy yet hard to find little restaurant tucked behind Gary David Design's studio off US 41.
We had two dishes, both penne (Vodka and Al'Arrabiata) and both were absolutely prefect -- the best we've had in Bonita or Southwest Florida for that matter.
The wine list, while not huge, had great choices and a special by-the-glass section so we didn't have to go wandering through the entire list.
Service was spot on. There when you needed something and unnoticeable when you didn't. Wine and food delivery was very, very quick.
The ambience wasn't spectacular, being, literally, in a "box" but was very nicely decorated.
Now...we visited during off season. It was too hot to eat in the outside dining area which looked nice. The service was quick because...well...there were only 4 other tables being served. That changed later when the restaurant started to fill up around 7PM.
The only negative was our order of the Antipasto Salad. It wasn't available because they didn't have all the ingredients. Probably due to the season as well.
If you're looking for great food and the best ambience, choose Molino's. If you want great, authentic food and the feel of an authentic Italian restaurant, Blue Moon Cafe. But for the best Italian food, hands down, Bella Vita.
We'll patronize all three, but Bella Vita was a wonderful surprise.
Next time, we'll try seafood. :)

Some people live to complain and look for reasons to do so.
Btw...this has to have been one of the most poorly written newspaper articles I've ever read. Run-on sentences, repetitive phrasing, and "She said the neighbors may have ate the rooster."??
I know that it's hard to find good writers and that papers frequently use freelancers, but the editors are supposed to catch things like this.
