Unfortunately rational, we can't get away from politics. It runs our government, mays our laws, etc. We are reminded of it today and affects our future. An opinion is just that, an opinion and everyone, including newspapers. Do I agree with every article or opinion? No, I don't. Am I scared of where our future is headed and those of children and grandchildren, you betcha. The best way to change that is to get out and vote, let your voice be heard and encourage everyone else to get out and vote also. Remember, majority wins.

I understand your "point of view" BigG. We have a choice to read what we choose, watch what we choose. Because someone prints something we all don't like, then we cancel subscriptions? Do we stop talking to someone because they don't like our point of view? Does/Did your employer agree with you at all times? If a person is that happy with the decision of a newspaper, why are they writing online? If I was the type of person to hold a grudge because of something that was printed, I sure wouldn't be here reading the "free" edition either.

GoneFishin,
I think you know what I mean. Our great nation is based upon the freedom to choice. If we all had the same opinion, we would be pretty boring, don't u think. We should vote based upon what we know and believe and want for our country. Unfortunately, we have 2 choices right now and neither one, in my book, is going to be one of the greatest leaders of all time. If they are, I will be one very surprised American!

I would hope everyone would do their own thinking and vote their hearts. Since when do we believe what we read? That is what American is all about, the right to choose, the right to freedom. A newspaper board is probably comprised of a handful of individuals, like us, that have their right to an opinion. That handful does not make my decisions.

Not all of them are agreeing, that is apparent.

I see a pattern here with McDermott. What is it going to take, another death before she is finally brought to justice? It is a shame they just didn't have enough on her this time.

Well, we rent a duplex and we now have a 2ft leaking crack in the bedroom ceiling. The comcast cable is out but everything else is OK.

FDNYEngine. I agree but I think it was necessary to print. It was interesting to read that he has been in trouble with the law since the age of 15 and the father of 2, possibly 3 children. I also find it hard to believe the family said "this was not him". Your are right, it should never have happened in the first place. This is not by any means a sympathy blog for Arango.

Napleslocale....You read it how YOU want to read it, see it how YOU see it. We know what happened. Thug pulls gun, shoots officer in the face. Witnesses = 1 (girlfriend). Officer did not pull his gun. Never mind...you will never see the truth. Bye
