These are somebody's children. This makes me sick to my stomach. How sad. I pay more attention to my dog than some parents do to their children.
(I feed her, bathe her, take her to the vet, play with her, buy her treats, discipline her, and above all, I know where she is at all times.)

The problem, Beetle, is that many people don't want to hear how hard these people have it. It's so much easier to just say there isn't a problem, and they should just get a better job, etc.
Spoken like someone who has never done a hard day's work in their life. Hard to have a heart when daddy handed you everything I guess.
It makes some people feel superior when they can look down on someone else.
Wouldn't it be something to have them switch places for a day....

Wow. The homeless agency is homeless. This is so sad. Wonder if any of the city council members (or the mayor) helped serve hungry people today.

Did you know that according to the last census, only about 1% of our population is Native American Indian? And they were here first! So 99% of us were/are immigrants too.

This reminds me of those OH SO EXPENSIVE coffee beans you can buy, that are eaten by some kind of exotic cat, and then...pooped out-- and stupid people pay lots of money for them.
