Thank you posters #1 & #2, my first thought while reading was "gullets"....what the??? Who is writing this stuff?

#13 & #20, good posts and dead on. With kids these days, you NEVER know. Heck, these days you can never tell how anyone is going to react. Pulling guns & knives, people are out of control. Just pissing someone off can get you killed.

#2 Mother, Grouper & Chips (across from NCH north and downtown has good seafood chowder.
In fact, Grouper & Chips has great food. Crab cakes are good. Fish is fresh, fresh, fresh.
I dislike driving to Ft. Myers to eat as well.
BoneFish grill is good, but pricey. Chilean Sea Bass is around $26, or was that price last time we were there. They have now opened a restaraunt over where Boat Haven used to be--if anyone remembers where that was...

I got umpteen bottles of wine.
I have one bottle of Dad's Root Beer in the fridge. Beetle, that's for you.
I have a recipe for German Chocolate Upside Down Cake. I've only made it once, but it's might tasty.
Also, Mom's been making this Broccoli Cornbread about once a month for Sunday dinner, and it is really yummy. Seems kind of odd at first, but pretty soon it starts to grow on ya.
I've got a brisket too. Takes about 1 1/2 hrs to cook.
Got plenty of food, count me in.
Please don't offer me ice cream though, I have a terrible allergy to it. MY hips just swell up like crazy when I eat it. Just keep it out of sight, sometimes I swell up just looking at it. haha

My only complaint is a)it's a bit further away than Wild Oats is from me b)a bit more pricey that we can afford every week, but we will be shopping there sometimes c)I wish they would keep Wild Oats open as well.
Ada's has been in the works for a while. The Mgr. at Ada's in Ft Myers told me they were coming here like 3 yrs ago! In fact, I thought that Ada's was going to be in the same area as the new Whole Foods (just by what I was told at Ada's).
BTV, I like you no matter what anyone says...you are just chock full of all kinds of neat stuff aren't ya? I love it! Keep the public informed. By the way I have an adult son who believes that there is a conspiracy in this organic business. so I've heard all points.

OMG!! Sheriff Scott, now you've done it and let the cat out of the bag. Good grief, it's not like everyone doesn't already know the mans' middle name.
If you don't like it, too bad. IT IS HIS NAME. My daughter changed hers legally. He could have changed it, or I could say that he should've changed it prior to running for public office if he didn't want it used against him.
O course then we'd would have said that he was trying to hide something by changing it...
