Another company buckling to misplaced pressure. If the restaurants have to be the nursemaids of the farm workers, they should operate their own farms.

Lemme: How was Bush supposed to "protect New Orleans"? Push the hurricane away? Put it in a jar and store it on a shelf? Ask the Democrats that have owned New Orleans for the last several decades where they were (when they weren't filling a parking lot with school buses that could have been used for such silly things as EVACUATIONS!)
You (as with many Bush-haters) neglect to include all the efforts to force banks to make loans to people unable to pay them back that began well before Bush took office. And then there are numerous declarations by Democrats for the last few years (including this year) about how Fannie/Freddie were running just fine and there was no need to be concerned about them.
Valerie Plame was not a spy out in the field. She was an office worker and her "covert" status was only a formality. Plus I seem to recall seeing a screen capture of a website for her husband going back before her "outing" and her name was clearly listed on it.

Here we go again. Total disregard of all the talk throughout the Clinton years about the threat Saddam was (remember the four day bombing of Iraq codenamed "Desert Fox" was supposed to be going after his WMD program...which JUST HAPPENED to be the same time as Monica's testimony for Clinton's impeachment proceedings.)
You can look at the arguments Bush made, and you'll find the same things being said during Clinton's time in office (not to mention pretty much by the rest of the world).
Maybe if Bill had put more effort into action internationally and a little less domestically (at least in the side room with Monica) maybe the war wouldn't have happened.
Now with Hillary going to the Sec. of State office, Bill can focus on some "international action". :)

More feel-good measures. Lenders hanging onto failing properties, losing even more money.

Ok, this is something I've never seen happen here before. My previous two posts are somehow now in reverse order from the order they were posted (even the time stamp on my correction is one minute before the first post).

Gotta love those liberals, the self-proclaimed champions of the right to speak/vote, trying to shut up those who agree with them.
They decry all the rights we have supposedly lost since Bush came into office (funny, I haven't seen a concentration camp yet in all my travels), yet they are the ones who invented the entire concept of "Political Correctness", which has done FAR MORE damage to society than anything they might think Bush has done.

Apologies, the first paragraph should be "disagree with them".

I see again the convenient ignoring of Wall Street sending MUCH more money to Democrats than Republicans (Obama receiving the second-highest amount) and how the events that started this began long before Bush was elected (even Bubba Clinton has admitted being part of the problem).

Ethanol is a payoff to "Big Corn"/"Big Agriculture". Gets votes from the midwest for those who support it.

#41: You attack Sanity for stating a fact? Frank's partner during the 90s was a VP of Fannie/Freddie (I forget which) while Frank himself was on an oversight committee...a conflict of interest that only a Democrat would be allowed to operate in.
