They do not get the message. Oil=gasoline is a commodity that is doomed. Plan for mass transit. Be the first to design a rail, mono-rail system that will provide transportation to the future generations. Or provide the voting citizens of Collier County a "viewing" through the crystal ball from area 51 that sits on the desk of the transportation department.

The pirate oil companies and the politicians will reap the booty of the "black gold from the Gulf of Mexico. The question is how to slice up a portion of the profits that will provide tax relief to the legal citizens of Florida. Alaskans receive a check from their oil reserves. Let them drill in Clam's Pass, Doctors Pass and the Everglades. Build a nuclear power plant off Oil Well Road and Rt29. Let us all work together as a nation to continue the quest to buy our future autos from Communist China and India. The oil from the Gulf of Mexico will power the Communist Chinese autos and free up more OPEC oil to run their Made In The U.S.A. industrial base.

View as a passenger in a Korean made vehicle on Livingston Rd within the last couple of hours. Driver of vehicle was within the speed limit of 45mph. A Collier County Para Vehicle mass transit sped by at an estimated speed of 60mph. Following was a Toyota Camry with a "Paratrooper"
license plate that had a driver that appeared to be a World War II Vet.
It would be great to be in a 48 Pontiac on Broadway, on a snowy day in December looking for a Christmas tree.

Ford and GM continue to shut down and lay off workers in the Rust Belt. Machine shops and foundries that depended on the auto industry have demolished their buildings. The tax base gone, city and county governments have closed libraries, schools and can not repair winter created potholes in the roads. The foreclosure statics rival the Great Depression.
Vote out all of the incumbent politicians. Let them join the ranks of the taxpaying legal citizens that are willing to sacrifice golf course landscaped road mediums, twice a week garbage pickups, six lane new highways, health spas and water parks. We may live in paradise, but we better get used to a little of Rust Belt Hell.

Oil Exploration and discovery will take place off the Naples beaches. Oil Well Road oil deposits and the Everglades will continue to add to the coffers of the noted familes and friends of the oil interests. This is a given fact and the local average Joe, get used to that fact. However, the average Joe that has a son or daughter fighting for the global economic oil interests should demand that their son and daughters receive compensation based on the major oil companies profit margin.
The citizens of Florida and Collier County should demand the same rights of the citizens of Alaska to share the profits of the oil elite.

By God the corporate interests {politicans} would sell the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to the highest global bidders if the price was right. Next will be the for sale sign on the Arlington Cemetery, Gettysburg and Yellowstone National Park. When will the "old timers" declare enough is enough and lead the young generation out of this sell out?
