On Golden Gate football coach Tanner resigns after 1-win season

Posted on July 23 at 11:38 p.m.

"Mark Swanson was a teacher in the district before taking a job in the private sector."
The guy was a football coach that was FIRED for physically abusing one of his players. We don't need someone running on a "revenge" platform.
What would he do if he had a disagreement with someone? Perhaps put a helmet on them, smack them around and then grab the face mask and give it a few shakes. Ah, the good ol' days.

Alexander Palmer
Through weakness, Carter made the whole world more vulnerable. To mention his name in the same sentence with The Pope is reaching far beyond my imagination.

Mayor Barnett owned Scotty Muffler and sold it to Johnny Nocera. Did this have anything to do with the good ol' boy network when Barnett pushed for the naming of the park?
Actually, the senior Nocera established a business in NY & little Johnny was silver spooned into it. They sold the business up north & purchased the current business from Barnett.
Nocera's history should be closely scrutinized. Did he not lie about his education? Is there anyone that is unfamiliar with his moral (or lack of) standards?
The above related letters, albeit very well written, only touch on the numerous reasons the park name should be changed. This just isn't right. What can be done?

if any sarcasm came across it was unintentional -
sorry

i tried to say yes, you correctly said what the procedures were in the schools, however i tried to point out they were not followed

i do not believe I called you any names - if by name calling you refer to my description of Faerber these were but a few of the names mentioned in the paper, FDLE report.....

I agree Tom Morris would not allow this to happen. He even confronted Faerber. You probably know him, as you say, better than I do.

As for Baker, with all due respect, I strongly doubt you know him as well as I do. Please consider that a cushy job is a nice thing to have and buckiing your boss is just not smart. It would be much easier to rationalize and look the other way.

sorry for the incorrect read beenthere

when you talked about what the procedures are and assumed they were followed it got under my skin - the monster would go straight to the classroom and get the kid - when one of the teachers told morris and baker THEY DID NOTHING !!!!

faerber made his own rules and got away with doing as he pleased through fear

i assure you he was NOT on the BCHS list for signing the kid out, I assure you - (Even if he was the school has the responsibility of protecting the child)
