NDN has typo's? Really, thats wierd I always thought their articles were well thought contrived and to the poin...ugh I can't even pretend about it...

US41 + 119 mpg + dark = dead.....as someone who recently moved out of port of the islands I must point out people speed out there ALL THE TIME...probably the most dangerous part of US41 is parallel to the alley. I had a suped up dodge neon (i know, i know) come flying up behind me with roughly 90mpg (but I dont have FHP's nifty estimating device) with on coming traffic coming, he tried to pass (idiot) saw the car and didn't stop until he passed me and 2 other cars, dodged the oncoming car hit the west bound guard rail, lost his front bumper and side window, and continued to take off like a bat outta hell. I was in shock that he just took off towards 951 without missing a beat goin 90 again. Drug runner im assuming, who else would take off?

oh and looser is spelled loser....loser

I dont know Jinian that well, but I have had Dr. Lounsbury for classes, actually still have a class with him and I find it hard to believe he sexually harassed anyone. He is a great professor and makes the subject matter he is teaching very interesting. Another sad day at FGCU.

lol nice, actually shirley you did sing up for this, went your pants dropped. I'm sick of people saying they didn't know they could get pregnant, it was my first time etc. Back in NY state we had sex ed in middle school, talked about not just abstinence but also condoms and birth control. At least up there we weren't nieve(sp?) When I moved down here in 98 to finish my last two years of high school I couldn't believe the amount of pregnant girls in my school GCHS, in the 2 years there, there were at least 4 girls pregnant. Be repsonsible, protection is cheap, go fricken get it!

it voids all unions that are not marriages. elderly couples living together who share benefits, lose benefits because they are not married and it is not recognized as of now. it does not recognize domestic partnerships which a lot of firemen and police men have, will no longer be valid.

so yes it does effect more than just gays and lesbians.

look into domestic partnerships, and any other union of 2 people regardless of sex that incorporates benefits for each other.

On Collier, Lee voters see marriage as one man, one woman; statewide, Amendment 2 passes

Well Kish may have lost but considering the amount of fundraising and advertising he did compared to Colletta, he didn't do terrible. Colletta may have won but apparently you can tell people are starting to tire of him. Guess we will just wait and see what happens over the next 4 years...locally and nationally.

On Coletta beats Kish by large margin for Collier Commission seat (election_2008)
