Kind of amazing. The NDN puts out a totally useless poll of 59 votes. Where was it taken, in Rambosk's home precinct? In East Naples? It means nothing. Why does the NDN insist on this stupid tactic?

PS: To my friends at the NDN...here are a few facts:
Eight votes means nothing..
Two to one would be four votes to two...or eight votes to four, etc. and finally, one that's ONE vote different and they are dead even.
Why not think before you write.

What ever happened to the media not reporting any early polling in an effort to remain fair and unbiased. I guess the NDN just couldn't help supporting their candidate one more time. Outrageous!!

By the way....what is this reference of "Rambosk of the CCSO?
I guess the NDN forgot that he had to step down because of continued violations of the Federal Hatch Act. But then again, what else can we expect from NDN?

Vinny brings more attention to the CCSO problems than the NDN. Congrats Vinny.
Vote Ortino to clean up this mess at CCSO!

I think that old lawyer joke works well for Williams.....how do you know when Williams is lying...his lips are moving.
He knows very well he is telling a boldface lie about the 400 deputy's and says it anyway.
This is the same guy who sent out a memo ordering his subordinates not to cooperate with neighboring law enforcement agencies, and participated in the coverup of Freeman's retirement and numerous other coverups.
Come on Officer Williams, try being a real Marine and tell the truth.

My other concern has been the Hatch Act violation. How can we think about electing a sheriff who simply ignores the law, and a federal law at that, because he "thinks" it doesn't apply to HIM. Who is he to be above the law. Finally he stepped down, but only because a federal special counsel told him it was that or face prosecution. Everyone has to obey the law, even and especially our elected officials.

It would appear the truth is far different from what we have been hearing from the slick Rambosk campaign camp.
It has been twenty years of the Hunter/Rambosk team. We are long overdue for a change.
Vote Ortino!

Well Jeff, with stories like this mornings lead that appears to have been written by Rambosk himself, yes the voters are the losers. The story is biased (like everything you have written supporting Rambosk) and not on point. The point is all three candidates are qualified to run under the current law, not only those the NDN deems to qualified.
Here is what the voters really need. The Sheriff's office should not be occupied by political hacks who have a resume but no ethics.
We need reporting that will honestly examine Rambosk position/involvement in:
1. Raising $50,000 from Kraft construction who was caught employing 28 illegal immigrants and determining how Rambosk can be impartial after accepting that amount of money?
2. Rambosk involvment in the sexual assault coverup of Freeman?
3. Why the public affairs officer of the CCSO makes $80K of taypayers money and runs Rambosk campaign?
4. Why he flaunted his continued employment when he was in violation of the Hatch Act and only when the special prosecutor gave him a choice of resignation or prosecution did he step down.
5. Why the budget went up 50% or $50 million during his watch and he doesn't have any answer for it?
Those are questions that would have helped the voters make a decision. Why don't you asked the defrocked undersheriff those questions?

Why doesn't Hunter turn the Hendricks investigation over to FDLE in order to remove any doubt of conflict? Is there any good reason other than a coverup?
