The Photo is from SGGE last weekend. Athough this might make some fine kelp for Whole Foods it didn't do alot for area drainage.

I have visited the wall in Washington and will visit the exhibit in Naples. On a side note I would love to see another monument, a black wall with no names on it to honor those who have sacrificed everything in actions our government denied involvement.

They didn't open the gates for the first time until yesterday. The dead marine life and suds on the water from earlier in the week are unrelated to Lake O.

The Cocohatchee canal was plugged with an earthen "dam" until Monday afternoon before Fay.
Neither the WMD or the county had a clue. I emailed Coletta on Sunday evening who contacted both Tears and Mudd before this became a disaster. Don't believe me? I have the e-trail to prove it. Why did the water stand for a week and a half? We'll never know.
