Hey " volochine" . .

The "government" is US!!!! The property tax payers.

WHY??? should we pay for some mistake that some incompetent, or unattentive, County employee made?

They are being paid to do their job! There have been way too many of these type of "mistakes"!

Are the people making them being fired?

If not, why!???

Why would anyone want any more ways to get to Miami?

It's bad enuf they widened the Alley. The crime increased rapidly after that . . . making it easier for the Miami criminals to get to Naples and back quicker!

And "pauls" is right . . the path would be just another place for muggings, etc.

WHY???? with the encomony in the tank is anyone even thinking of new ways to spend money!

As was mentioned it's not just the cost of making the path . . but then it has to be maintained and patroled by law enforcement and park rangers!

Everyone should be thinking of ways to "do" more efficiently w/what we currently have!

Custodians get over it and go look for jobs. You got a break and were coddled for years when you got the custodial jobs w/benefits.

The public can only be taxed so much on their homes for schools before they will be foreced out of their homes to pay the property taxes!

Why don't you sue the teacher's union instead? They got the class size amendment thru the State legislature. It may be fine, and a great idea for elementary school. But other than special needs students middle school, and especially high school students should be able to learn in larger classes!

If the school district wasn't FORCED to build more schools to comply w/this class size amendment the teacher's union pushed thru, and hire more teachers, etc. they might have the $$$s to keep you employed.

Why do you want to cause the taxpayers MORE expense than we've already had paying you all these years by filing a lawsuit?

Go out and find other jobs . . .

Great Idea! Congrats to the participating organizations!

We should do same w/these hurricane victims who lost their homes in TX and LA . . . .let the banks transfer some of those foreclosed homes to them to pay off the discounted outstanding mortgages!

We'd be over this foreclosure crisis in no time!

There are too many instances of the government rendering people's private lands unuseable . . yet they continue to charge exhorbant property taxes for those properties! Which the owner can't sell!

And, speaking of FWF field representative Nancy Payton, where was she when Twin Eagles got the permission to INCREASE from the original 175 single family homes they agreed to limit the community to, to another 3 phases of hundreds of condos?

Not only is that additional building interfering w/the wildlife she so says she's trying to protect . . but it's also causing more flooding in the Estates!

So seems she picks and chooses what suits her, rather than being consistent.

It's time to lift a lot of the restrictions that have been put on Estates properties! As they have all but destroyed all property values in the Estates.

You can't give away land in the Estates now! Between the ilk of Ms. Payton and the wetlands crew . . they have driven the cost of building to an unreasonable level!

How is anyone going to enforce the proper maintenance of the Alley once it's leased to a foreign country?

No one is talking about that. We could end up w/"POT HOLE ALLEY" instead of what we currently have.

All you parents out there who have your kids in public schools . . . your kids could be benefiting from going to this private school, and getting a better education, if our State would approve school vouchers so you could chose!

What you can learn from this is that it doesn't matter how much you pay a teacher . . . they are either good or not . . .more $$$s do not a better teacher make!

And oh, I am NOT connected in any way w/this school, or the public schools. Just an informed observer of the education system!
