No doubt the police had the right to shoot and defend themselves. But, I'd like to know what gun shot made the man drop his weapon. Was it shot 1, 2, 3? Do you think it took up to 9 bullet holes for the guy to freeze?

Your probably right eaglebeak (I'll be surprised if groceries and other services that have charged extra will go down in price). Has anyone noticed that the toilet paper rolls have shrunk in size -- (they are shorter). Cereal boxes now contain fewer ounces. The list goes on.

I thought I read a month or two ago that the charges were dropped because the officer went to the wrong apartment/ house number. Does anyone else remember seeing this article? I say good luck to this family -- I think the police departments in Naples over react and make a mountain out of a molehill.

While I can certainly understand the parents panic. I have to say that the first few week of school is chaotic, and it would be hard for any bus driver to keep track of who gets off where. Being a parent, I would have asked an older neighbor hood child who lives nearby to make sure that the girl gets off at the right bus stop with them.
